Crave by: Tracy Wolff

Synopsis: My whole world changed when I stepped inside the academy. Nothing is right about this place or the other students in it. Here I am, a mere mortal among gods…or monsters. I still can’t decide which of these warring factions I belong to, if I belong at all. I only know the one thing that unites them is their hatred of me.

Then there’s Jaxon Vega. A vampire with deadly secrets who hasn’t felt anything for a hundred years. But there’s something about him that calls to me, something broken in him that somehow fits with what’s broken in me.

Which could spell death for us all.

Because Jaxon walled himself off for a reason. And now someone wants to wake a sleeping monster, and I’m wondering if I was brought here intentionally—as the bait.

Such a fast-paced swoon-worthy paranormal read. Crave is a book you will definitely want to take a bite out of.

Our main character, Grace, is shipped off to the middle of nowhere Alaska after her parents pass away in an accident. She’s excited for a fresh start in a new place, however everything at Katmere Academy seems not quite right. Plus the most unattainable guy can’t seem to stay away from saving her when trouble strikes. Grace needs to figure out what’s going on and quick, before she ends up like her parents.

I really enjoyed this story and the characters we are introduced to. Grace is your average, insecure teen just trying to figure how to start over after the loss of her parents. Jaxon is our brooding bad-boy we all love. Plus you get characters like Macy, Mekhi, Flint who all make for a perfect round up of characters.

The awesome thing about crave is you get a little taste of every paranormal “species”. I was so excited to see dragons thrown into the mix. I really hope in future books Tracy lets us see all the lore a bit more.

Overall Crave was a delicious page-turner and I am super excited to get my hands on the next book.
