Wrong Bed, Right Guy by: Katee Robert

Synopsis: Seducing Mr. Wrong has never felt so right...

Prim and proper art gallery coordinator Elle Walser is no good at seducing men. Heck, she’s been throwing hints at her boss for months, but he’s completely clueless. Desperate to escape her mother’s matchmaking efforts, she comes up with a plan—buy some lingerie and climb into her boss’s bed. The plan goes brilliantly…until she accidentally seduces a sexy stranger instead.

Bad boy nightclub mogul Gabe Schultz just had the best almost-sex of his life. Too bad the smoking hot blonde thought he was his brother and bolted before he could finish what they started. Though her holier-than-thou attitude puts a serious damper his mood, Gabe’s never been one to give up on something he wants. And he wants Elle. But does a man who lives on the dark side really have a chance with a proper lady?

Thoughts: Wrong Bed, Right Guy is the perfect seductive read that will make anyone smile. It's hot. It's fun. It'll have you not being able to turn the pages fast enough! I couldn't get enough of these characters.

Elle finally decides she's waited long enough and dropped too many hints, so she literally climbs into her boss's bed and seduces him. She thinks everything is going how she wants it to until Elle realizes it's not Nathan with her in bed, but his bad boy brother Gabe. Humiliated, she flees. But Gabe, despite Elle being the opposite of what he normally goes after, can't get her out of his head. Can Gabe convince Elle that climbing into bed with him wasn't a mistake after all?

This book seriously starts off so sexy and hooks you right from the beginning. Within the first few pages I was already wrapped up in Elle's story. Then Gabe and Nathan were thrown into the bunch and I was a goner. I mean the clubs... sexy! The men... perfect. The tension... gripping. The art and tattoo aspect... so hot and so something that compels me to a person. Every little thing made me totally fall in love with the story.

Characters who are both sexy, innocent, and full of creativeness. A story that is seductive, yet playful. You can't go wrong! I whipped through this one so quickly, and I loved every moment of it! Katee never disappoints and I cannot wait to read whatever book she throws my way next!

Lucid by: P.T. Michelle

Synopsis: Once Nara combines her prophetic ability with Ethan’s power to outsmart Fate at his own deadly cat-and-mouse game, she’s more determined than ever to help Ethan learn the meaning behind the raven sword tattoo that suddenly appeared on his back after their confrontation with Fate.

During her quest to uncover the tattoo’s secrets, Nara enlists the help of some new friends and discovers her own surprising connection to Ethan.

While Nara digs deeper into the mystery, her desire for answers leads her down a dangerous path full of powerful and ruthless enemies. Swept into an age-old battle, Nara quickly learns that keeping one’s enemies close can be a necessary evil, making an intangible enemy she can control far more preferable to the human enemies she can’t.

Thoughts: Lucid completely upped the thrills and dangers. It was thrilling around every turn and I was hanging on to every word! I absolutely loved Brightest Kind Of Darkness, and Lucid took us even more into Nara and Ethan's world and I absolutely loved it.

Lucid starts off where we left off in Brightest Kind Of Darkness. Ethan has gone off to smooth things over with his parents and figure out more about himself. All the while, Nara is still home and trying to sift through her own powers and her connection to Ethan. As Nara searches more about herself and Ethan, violent things start to happen to her. Thank goodness for new friend Drystan, and her old friends who are there to help her. But, when things take a dramatic turn, Nara will have to use all her strength and Ethan's to finally figure out mystery around her mysterious power.

I have to admit, I really missed Ethan in this installment. I totally fell in love with him in Brightest Kind Of Darkness. Let me just say though, when he finally "shows up" in Lucid... he really shows up with a bang and I cannot WAIT to find out more in the third book. In his place (well sort-of) we get a new hot fella, Drystan. First off, completely smoking hot name. Second... accent! Oh yeah this boy has the looks, the accent, fighter skills, and honestly he is so protective and a sweetheart. I really started to fall for Drystan as we got to know him more. I loved how he was there for Nara when Ethan wasn't. BUT I am still an Ethan girl! Another character who is back and always there for Nara is her best friend Lainey... and oh gods I love her! She is funny and protective, and totally all you could want in a best friend.

Also... shout out to Patch! I freaking love that bird.

Lucid took Nara's journey through a whole new bunch of twists and turns I wasn't really anticipating.  She kept so much strength through out this book. Her strength while Ethan is away, her strength with her friends, her strength with her family, her strength through the dramatic events... I was very impressed. With how Lucid ended, I am SO excited for book three. I cannot wait to see where everything goes. And, I adore how P.T. upped the thrills and intense moments. This series just keeps getting better and better and I need book three!

Pushing The Limits by: Katie McGarry

Synopsis: No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.  Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.

Thoughts: I teared up. Ladies and gentlemen, I teared up while reading this one. If you know me you know I'm not a crier. It is so extremely rare for me to cry or tear up over a book. There are two I can name out of all the books I've read (Forbidden and Feed) and now Pushing The Limits just joined that list. This story is so powerful, so moving, so heartbreaking at times and you cannot help but fall for every word.

We start off with Echo Emerson who was in an accident... one she doesn't remember. She has scars all over her arms and she hides them because people look at her disgusted or make rumors about her. She went from miss popular to outcast after "the accident". Echo finally starts trying to go back to her old life, while meeting with a therapist to try to help her understand the accident. Then she meets Noah who is famous for his sexy, girl-loving, bad boy reputation. Noah, however, has issues of his own that he needs to figure out. So when Noah and Echo's worlds start to collide neither of them will expect the outcome.

This book. I honestly don't even know what to say. There were just too many things I loved about it. The first being the characters journeys. Echo and Noah started in such rough places in the beginning of the story, and yet by the end you can see them healing. You can see them making amends and being completely different people then who they were at the start. Pushing The Limits also shows us extremely complicated situations. Situations that no teenager should ever have to deal with... but these tragedies do happen and you have to find ways to keep going. Find people who love you, who believe in you because you should never have to go through these alone, no matter how strong of a person you are.

Noah Hutchins. You sexy, intense boy you. Noah's story killed me. Just killed me. The emotional torment he had to deal with just tore me to shreds. I can't imagine being in his shoes and fighting for what he does... I'm not sure how I'd be able to do it. He is a stronger boy than you can imagine... and for that reason, I cried for him. Then there's Echo. How would you feel having scars all over your body that you have no memory of receiving? To constantly look at yourself and feel ashamed, to feel as if you're constantly being judged. Echo's situation shows us a broken family life, a family life that a lot of people deal with (even though hers is way more extreme). One of the many things I loved about Echo, was her art aspect. Art is beautiful. I absolutely lost myself in both Noah and Echo's stories and I adored how Katie weaved their lives together.

Pushing The Limits is definitely one of the best books I've read this summer. It really shows you to appreciate the life you have. It shows you struggles and emotional torment. It shows you to trust in those who love you. It shows you that a lot of times good things can come from bad things. That no matter what hardships you're going through... to be strong. This book is amazing. It's so intense. So seductive. So beautifully written.

Cover Reveal: Inbetween

I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS COVER. Want to know why? ...Well, why don't you look at it and see if you can figure it out. ;)

by: Tara Fuller

Expected Release: August 2012
Imprint: Entangled Teen
Novel Length: 400 Pages
Format: Trade Paperback and eBook

Synopsis: Since the car crash that took her father’s life three years ago, Emma’s life has been a freaky—and unending—lesson in caution. Surviving “accidents” has taken priority over being a normal seventeen-year-old, so Emma spends her days taking pictures of life instead of living it. Falling in love with a boy was never part of the plan. Falling for a reaper who makes her chest ache and her head spin? Not an option.

It’s not easy being dead, especially for a reaper in love with a girl fate has put on his list not once, but twice. Finn’s fellow reapers give him hell about spending time with Emma, but Finn couldn’t let her die before, and he’s not about to let her die now. He will protect the girl he loves from the evil he accidentally unleashed, even if it means sacrificing the only thing he has left...his soul.

Isn't it so eeeek like heavenly?! I love that we can now have a glimpse of Finn and Emma :) Because I think it's truly both of their story. And um... that quote at the top?!? *DIES* I have to thank Tara and the Entangled crew for that <33

- Extras -

Believe me, do it. You'll love it! :)

About The Author: Tara Fuller writes novels. Some about grim reapers. Some about witches. All of course are delightfully full of teen angst and kissing. Tara grew up in a one stop light town in Oklahoma where once upon a time she stayed up with a flash light reading RL Stine novels and only dreamed of becoming a writer. She has a slight obsession with music and a shameless addiction for zombie fiction, Mystery Science Theater, and black and white mochas. Tara no longer lives in a one stop light town. Now she lives with her family in a slightly larger town in North Carolina where they have at least three stoplights.

Where you can find Tara.

If you'd like to read the Prologue of INBETWEEN. Make sure you head over to Tara's website!! :)

Vote For Kaidan!!!

*sigh* He's so sexy....

Captain Tara here, your acting advocate for Kaidan Rowe, along with Shreya and Gianna, my second and third in command in the Kaidan Army, Infantry Division, part of the Tater’s Tall Tails troop. We are here today under orders from Pharzuph, the Duke of Lust, to increase awareness about his son Kaidan Rowe.  He wants us to help Kaidan in this YA Crush Tournament that is going on under the command of the YA Sisterhood Troop. His orders are to inform everyone about the Seven Deadly Reasons to Love Kaidan Rowe and encourage the masses to VOTE for him to be the ultimate crush in the tournament. We hope to give you all the information you need to vote for Kaidan! We wouldn’t want him to get in trouble with his daddy or the other Dukes for not properly influencing the masses!
Now Kaidan is the unbelievably sexy main man from Wendy Higgins’s book Sweet Evil. Kaidan is a unique individual, although he is the son of the Duke of Lust, he in fact exhibits traits from all seven of the deadly sins. Kaidan Rowe is your typical gift from the gods: brown hair cut short on the sides and back, but longer on top, angling across the forehead. His eyes were a gorgeous color of tropical honeymoon waters, ringed in dark sapphire and enclosed by thick lashes. And he is smokin’ hot. As in H-O-T-T hot. Kaidan is extra-T worthy.

Now here are Seven Deadly Reasons To Love Kaidan Rowe:
1: Envy: Kaidan has been known to make the male population quite envious and jealous. Aside from his good looks, he has incredible talent.  According to our field agent, Private Jay, Kaidan Rowe has been described as: “…a killer musician, he gets tons of chicks, his dad’s loaded, and if that wasn’t enough, he’s got a friggin’ English accent!” p. 15

2. Gluttony: Kaidan has shown to make this rather unattractive sin, quite attractive. Know to be a disgusting sin; Kaidan has turned gluttony into quite a spectacle.  I believe he uses his lustful nature to influence others on this.
“He picked up a green pear from his plate and bit into lit, licking juice that dripped down his thumb.” p. 180

3. Wrath: Although Kaidan is the epitome of calm, silent and cool, there are times where the Duke of Wrath, Alocer, causes Kaidan to lash out. According to our information, one of Kaidan’s more recent admire, recalled a moment on their journey displaying Kaidan’s loss of control:
“With the swipe of an angry arm, Kaidan had sent a glass lamp flying off the dresser, where it bashed against the wall. He pointed at me, eyes blazing.” p.177

4. Pride: Being incredibly good looking and charming has its determents. Kaidan is often under influence of Rahab, the Duke of Pride. Kaidan has been known to use his bedroom eyes on unsuspecting victims and does not hid the fact that he sleeps in the buff. His pridefullness has gotten him the description of hotheaded, egocentric male slut by some local populations. But his pride has also interfered with his work: “Hum, moved too quickly. Rookie mistake.” But he is always quick to recover“But I can see you still want me.” p. 137

5. Sloth: Kaidan and his experience have been known to cause women to become quite lazy and unable to move under his expert touch. Many women describe a certain, cessation after their romp with Kaidan. Our incredible informant was kind enough to share a moment of her experience of the lazy, satisfying experience with Kaidan: With an expert movement, his stealthy hands went up to the back of my shirt, past the uncomfortable bra clasp that dug into my skin, fingers tracing my shoulder blades. The tense muscles spasmed weakly, then turned to Jell-O under his touch. p. 135

6. Greed: Not one of Kaidan’s better qualities or favorite sins, he isn’t known to show others his needs and wants. But there is one female in particular that causes Kaidan to feel a bit…possessive and needy. When Kaidan wants a girl, he wants it all…but his way. Just ask Kope for those stories. We have never seen him be as possessive as he is with his Luv, Ann…
“Just me, luv,” he said, close to my ear. “Aren’t you the picture of domestication? Do you cook as well?” p. 233
His voice lowered to sexy, dangerous depths. “I want to introduce myself to every freckle on your body.” p. 347

7. Lust: Kaidan, being the son of the Duke of Lust, has no problem with this sin.  We have had multiple reports from the female officers about how good and lustful Kaidan can be.  But one striking encounter happened with Kaidan’s off the books assignment, in a hotel room outside of LA one afternoon.
We met halfway. His lips were as hot as his eyes, sending a shock way through me. His tender mouth opened mine and I could sense the red of passion, like silk, circling us, pulling us closer. I was aware of a halfhearted battle within me, but I clambered nearer, pushing the notebook and papers to the floor.
His lips broke away from mine and moved greedily down my neck. A moan escaped me at the feel of his hot breath on my skin, and it was all the encouragement he needed. p. 236

Now we have been instructed under the General of the Kaidan Army to talk about his secret weapon: his tender moments, where his lust moves to love. Kaidan doesn’t like the world to know what is under his badge.  But under all of his bedroom eyes, sexy tussled hair and tanned skin, there is a man with true heart. He has the ability not only to make you swoon over his good looks and talented hands, but his tender moments will touch your heart and you will forever be his.
“Which was your favorite place?” I asked.
“I’ve never been terribly attached to anyplace. I guess is would have to be … here.”
I stopped mid-chew and examined his face. he wouldn’t look at me. He was clenching his jaw, tense. Was he serious or was he teasing me? I swallowed my bite.
“The Texas panhandle?” I asked.
“No.” he seemed to choose each word with deliberate care. “I mean here in this car. With you.”~ 153
Kaidan also knows how to truly love a woman. He might see it as his job or just par for the course but any woman loves a man that knows what he is doing.

I can feel out someone within five minutes of conversation to know what I would have to say and do to lure her into bed.
I know secrets of the human body most people don’t even know about themselves. p. 158

And out last shining quality about Kaidan and a reason for you to vote for him is
Kaidan finds something attractive about everybody. EVERYBODY! That means he thinks there's something very sexy about each and every person, and he never thinks of anyone as "ugly."  There are days where he is just staring at people, noticing all the little ways they are attractive.

…I felt his hand around my wrist, spinning me in a half circle and pulling me to his chest. His face was so close. He reached down and cupped my face with one woolly hand, and wiped the top corner of my lip hard with his thumb. I flinched back.
“What are you doing?”
“I…” he appeared to have no idea himself. “I wanted to see your freckle.”
A vulnerable tenderness flashed across his face, more painful to see than the coldness.  …
“What do you want from me Kai,”
“For starts,” his voice lowered to sexy dangerous depths. “I want to introduce myself to every freckle on your body.”

Now that we have given you all the information you need, we hope that you in fact will help spread Kaidan’s influence further by voting for him!! Remember we are under direct orders from The General of the Kaidan Army, Wendy as well as Pharzuph to ensure that we influence everyone we can!

Theme Song Thursday #3

So this week I'm choosing a book that isn't out yet. I know, I know... don't kill me! BUT, I just finished reading it recently and it's AMAZING. Like beyond amazing. And that book is Pushing The Limits by: Katie McGarry. So hopefully you love all the songs I picked for the book and it'll help you get a little preview/feel of the book! :) Enjoy!

Find Vienna - Both Need Saving

The title alone explains why I picked this song for Pushing The Limits.

Meg & Dia - Indiana

I think this is a good one for Echo. <3

Okay, so this is a live video because I like this upbeat version of the song way better than the acoustic sounding one.

She began to die
Indiana that's not right
Indiana that's not right
Then she began to fight
Indiana make it mine
Indiana make it mine

So pale and white
So inclined to do whats right
I will not sir, feel lonely tonight
shes strong but not obedient wise

I can do whatever I want like you

She began to die
Indiana that's not right
Indiana that's not right
Then she began to fight
Indiana make it mine
Indiana make it mine

So try this out
No time to run and hide
I will not sir feel lonely tonight
She's strong but her minds is loosing life

Skillet - Hero

I think this song is perfect for the beginning of the book. Perfect for the way both Noah and Echo feel about their past.

I'm going to post almost all the lyrics, because they're all so perfect. I'll bold the ones that really stick out to me. And no, I won't tell you why. You'll have to wait and see =P

I'm just a step away
I'm just a breath away
Losin' my faith today
(Fallin' off the edge today)

I am just a man
Not superhuman
(I'm not superhuman)
Someone save me from the hate

It's just another war
Just another family torn

(Falling from my faith today)
Just a step from the edge
Just another day in the world we live

I need a hero to save me now
I need a hero (save me now)
I need a hero to save my life

A hero'll save me (just in time)

I've gotta fight today
To live another day

Speakin' my mind today
(My voice will be heard today)

I've gotta make a stand
But I am just a man
(I'm not superhuman)
My voice will be heard today

It's just another war
Just another family torn

(My voice will be heard today)
It's just another kill
The countdown begins to destroy ourselves

I need a hero to save my life
I need a hero just in time
Save me just in time
Save me just in time

Who's gonna fight for what's right
Who's gonna help us survive
We're in the fight of our lives
(And we're not ready to die)

Who's gonna fight for the weak
Who's gonna make 'em believe
I've got a hero (I've got a hero)
Livin' in me

I'm gonna fight for what's right
Today I'm speaking my mind
And if it kills me tonight
(I will be ready to die)

A hero's not afraid to give his life
A hero's gonna save me just in time

Staying with the Skillet theme...

Skillet - The Last Night

This song is yet another reason why I'm in love with Skillet. And it's another song that I think perfectly describes Noah and Echo's relationship.

Yet again, bolding the parts that stand out to me :)

You come to me with scars on your wrist
You tell me this will be the last night feeling like this

I just came to say goodbye
I didn't want you to see me cry, I'm fine
But I know it's a lie.

This is the last night you'll spend alone
Look me in the eyes so I know you know
I'm everywhere you want me to be.
The last night you'll spend alone,
I'll wrap you in my arms and I won't let go,
I'm everything you need me to be.

Your parents say everything is your fault
But they don't know you like I know you they don't know you at all
I'm so sick of when they say
It's just a phase, you'll be o.k. you're fine
But I know it's a lie.

The last night away from me

The night is so long when everything's wrong
If you give me your hand I will help you hold on

I won't let you say goodbye,
I'll be your reason why.

The last night away from me,
Away from me.

Chevelle - Panic Prone

This purely a Noah song. Particularly a scene towards the end that made me cry. A scene where Noah had to make a major decision.

And well, I guess this song could work for Echo too.

So to care or plead silence?
Weak hands are calling

There's close enough
And there's too far
It won't change an empty stare
But I can't seem to end
These images
Hauntingly looks like hell

Halestorm - Beautiful With You

I feel like this is perfect for how Echo feels with Noah.

I stand naked before you now
No walls to hide behind
So here am I, you see all of my scars
Still here you are
I bare my soul and I'm not afraid
Not afraid

I am beautiful with you
Even in the darkest part of me
I am beautiful with you
Make it feel the way it's supposed to be
You're here with me
Just show me this and I'll believe
I am beautiful with you

Yep, perfection.

Apocalyptica ft.  Lacey - Broken Pieces

I think this song is perfect for both Echo and Noah's situations. Yet again, I'll bold lyrics. And just remember I'm not always bolding things for Echo and Noah together. But Echo and her situation and Noah and his situation. ;)

And as you ripped it all apart,
That's when I turned to watch you
And as the light in you went dark
I saw you turn to shadow
If you would salvage some part of you that once knew love
But I'm losing this
And I'm losing you

Oh I've gotta turn and run
From faces that you never see
Oh I've gotta save my blood
From all that you've broken
And pack up these pieces of me

It's too late now to stop the process
This was your choice - you let it in
This double life you lead is eating you up from within
A thousand shards of glass you pushed beneath my skin
And left me lying there to bleed

And as you showed me your scars
I only held you closer

But as the light in you went dark I saw you turn over
I wanted always to be there for you and close to you
But I'm losing this
And I'm losing you

Oh I've gotta turn and run
From faces that you never see
Oh I've gotta save my blood
From all that you've broken
And pack up these pieces of me

Red - Never Be The Same

This is one of my favorite songs in the whole world. And, I originally planned on saving it for a different book, but after reading Pushing The Limits, I couldn't not use it for this book.

I know you, who are you now?
Look into my eyes if you can't remember.
Do you remember, oh?

I can see, I can still find
You're the only voice my heart can recognize
But I can't hear you now, yeah.

I'll never be the same
I'm caught inside the memories, the promises
are yesterdays and I belong to you.
I just can't walk away
'cause after loving you
I can never be the same.

And how can I pretend I've never known you?
Like it was all a dream, no.
I know I'll never forget

the way I always felt with you beside me
and how you loved me then, yeah.

You led me here,
then I watched you disappear.
You left this emptiness inside
and I can't turn back time
No, stay!
Nothing compares to you.
Nothing compares to you.
I can't let you go,
Can't let you go.
I can't let go.

I'll never be the same,
not after loving you,
not after loving you, no.

I can never be the same.
I will never be the same.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
I just can't walk away.
No, I can't walk away from you.

Okay I think I overloaded on songs there. But there's truly SO many that could go for this book. Dark ones. Love ones. Upbeat ones. EEEK.

So what do you think? Do you agree with me if you've read the book? Do you like the songs? Do you have any thoughts of your own... any other song suggestions for the book. Or why you like the lyrics of this song for the book?
Thanks for stopping by! :)

  • Days of Blood and Starlight - Firstly, I think this cover blows the first book's cover out of the water. The cover for his book is freaking stunning. I also, really loved the first book and I cannot wait to see where Karou will end up in this sequel.
  • Shadowfell - This book sounds like a Maria V. Synder or Samantha Young book, and I absolutely adore adventures in magical worlds. I have a feeling I'll really enjoy Shadowfell and cannot wait to read it.
  • The Torn Wing - I loved The Faerie Ring so much. I cannot wait to read more of Tiki's story. Plus, I need way more Rieker! I ADORE him.

What A Boy Wants by: Nyrae Dawn

Synopsis: Courtesy of watching his mom’s relationships, Sebastian Hawkins knows what girls need to do to get a guy. He has what he considers a PHD in hooking up. When he needs extra cash for a car, Sebastian starts up an online venture as The Hook-up Doctor, to anonymously help girls land the guy of their dreams. Of course, his services don’t offer a happily-ever-after guarantee. He’s seen firsthand getting together never means staying together.

And then he falls in love…

With the last girl he would expect…

Totally not in his game plan.

Suddenly, Sebastian finds himself muddled in the game he’s always prided himself on. He can’t even pick up girls at parties anymore! Why would anyone want to be in love when it turns you into a stuttering, screwed-up, mess with really lame stalker tendencies? Stalking? Totally not his gig.

But the Hook-up Doctor won’t let himself go down easily. He’s always known how to give a girl what she wants and now it’s time to figure out what a boy wants… and he definitely plans on getting it.

Thoughts: After reading a book like What A Boy Wants, how can you have anything but happy thoughts? And when you stare at a cover like that the only thing I see is a gorgeous boy, with a sexy eyebrow piercing, and a boy that I definitely want to get to know. This book is seriously everything I hoped for. I was having an okay night, but after spending a few hours devouring What A Boy Wants, I feel like I'm left on a floating happy cloud.

Sebastian Hawkins, Bastian for short, knows exactly how to get girls. And it goes for the reverse too, he knows what a girl needs to do to get a guy. So to earn extra money to save up for a car, he decides to start a blog as The Hook-up Doctor, so that he can help girls get the guys they want and make money in the process. He only does hook-ups though, because after watching his mom get hurt and hurt again, love is far from his radar. But then the unthinkable happens... Bastian falls in love with a person he least expected to. He finally understands what all the fuss about love is finally about. But can a boy who always wrote off love finally get what he wants?

What A Boy Wants is that perfect little read that has everything you're hoping for. There's a romance that has you wishing it was yours. A sexy protagonist (actually there are multiple sexy boys), that you cannot help but love. The group of friends (and mom!) that you laugh at and want to know more about. Last but not least, a story and plot line that is so easy to relate to and keeps you hanging onto every word.

I found myself loving the four main characters. Bastian is truly one of those sexy and cocky boys who knows he can have what he wants but he also has a complete heart of gold and would do anything for the people he loves. The way he protects his mother and Aspen through the story is just one of many traits I loved about him. Then there's Jaden, Aspen, and Pris. Jaden, he who is also completely sexy with face piercings, is Bastian's best friend and his partner in crime shall I say. Jaden seems like one of those troubled boys who have a perfect heart and I just want to hold and squeeze them. And finally the girls. Aspen and Pris have what I'd like to call a perfect best friendship. They look out for one another, protect each other, and are smart girls who are easy to admire.

Overall, if you're looking for a quick read that you will absolutely adore by the time it's over... this book is for you. What A Boy Wants is definitely a book to pick you up and make you smile. It's a book that shows you sometimes what you want, if you just trust yourself, is right in front of you. And if you want something, never hesitate to go after it.
