My So-Called Teenage Life Blog Hop

______

So... I'm only 22. My teenage years really weren't that long ago. But alas! Teenage years start at 13 right? And I KNOW I can find some embarrassing things from middle school. Did I mention I hated middle school? Well I did.

Any who, here's some pictures and some diary entries from back then! Enjoy :)

_____

So I'm going to go backwards by age!

We'll start with 17:

Yep, I was a cheerleader :) From middle school until my freshman year in college!

One of my favorite pictures ever!

Age 16:

Yes I'm the one to the far right. We thought we were that cool.

Age 15:

Going to a dance at a friend's school! This is referred to as my "Belle" dress. And yes, I still have it. And *think* still fit it LOL.

Age 14:
(This is where I start to get SO UGLY. SO EMBARRASSING.)

Ah.... yeah.

Ninth grade hang outs...you know. We were so cool. Actually, my first BF is taking the picture. LOL.

Age 13:

I actually adore this picture. LOL And this night is when I actually first learned how to use eye liner! Courtesy to the the other girl in the picture!

____

Now that we've got those out of the way. I have EVEN MORE WAYS TO EMBARRASS myself! :) Below. Is a poem I wrote at age 13. And a diary entry from when I was also 13. While I looked through these, I seriously was LAUGHING my ass off. I cannot believe I wrote these things. It's absolutely crazy to look back on.

What possessed me to write like this.. I will never know. I'll just blame teenage love. LOL

And I cannot believe I used to... wRitE lYkE DiZ!

Go ahead laugh. Please do. I laughed SO hard. The sad thing is I still remember exactly who this is written about. LOL

So I used to have the hugest crush on this kid...

And I swear my handwriting is WAY better now! lol.

If you weren't apart of this hop. You totally missed out. This is was SO much fun. And I cannot wait to do this again when I'm say 40. As a suggestion, I suggest everyone go dig through your old stuff today or tomorrow. Because you will get a laugh or a smile out of it. I'm SURE of it. :)

  1. Holy Crap. I love THE hell out of this. For real. The best part is that I'm SO much older than you that my poetry is more like Emily Dickinson poetry bc hip hop and spoken word poetry wasn't even a thing back then.

I adore you. Seriously, you have solidified yourself as the most awesome person FoReVeR!

  2. How creative you were! I'm not sure I could handle reading a ton of the poetry, my eyes would bug out. But I'm old. :)

I get a kick out of all the people I mentioned in my journals. Who was going with whom. I mean, seriously, they weren't my good friends, but I often had lists of breakups and such. Why?
