IF I DIE by: Rachel Vincent (Mini Review)

Synopsis: No one wants to be this teacher’s pet . . .

Everyone else is talking about Eastlake High’s gorgeous new math teacher, Mr. Beck, but Kaylee Cavanaugh has bigger things on her mind. Kaylee’s a banshee—her scream is a portent of death.

But the next scream might hit too close to home. Kaylee’s borrowed lifeline has almost run out.

Yeah—it’s a shock to her, too. So to distract herself from her own problems, Kaylee is determined to defend her school against the latest supernatural threat. That hot new teacher is really an incubus, who feeds from the desire of unsuspecting students. The only girls immune to his lure are Kaylee and Sabine, her boyfriend’s delinquent ex-girlfriend. Now the unlikely allies have to get rid of Mr. Beck…before he discovers they aren’t quite human either.

But Kaylee’s running out of time, and those who love her will do anything to save her life.

Anything.

Soul Screamers: The last thing you hear before you die.

Thoughts: In the acknowledgments, Rachel states that she always says "this is her best one yet!" but with this one... She is 826% correct! IF I DIE was outstanding, it truly was the best one yet. If I Die had everything you could have ever asked for: romance, anger, death, heartbreak, struggles, laughs, triumphs, fights, and super smexy times! I could have not asked for a better fifth book. I am anxiously waiting for BEFORE I WAKE because I absolutely need more an cannot wait to see what happens next. A billion stars out of 5. TOD FOREVER :D

  1. Tod forever? Man I have a bad feeling about this (Nash fan, here :P). But, so glad you enjoyed this one! I can't wait to read it, I've loved this series so far. Thanks for the review :).

  2. At this point I'm not even sure how I feel about the two of them (Tod and Nash) although I'm pretty much leaning toward Nash here. I hope that storyline isn't dragged out until the end, though! I have this one pre-ordered!

  3. Okay, so I'm with Kaye, through the whole series I've liked both boys Nash & Tod. But I've always been leaning towards Team Tod.

And this book has A LOT of both boys, so don't worry.

I was so happy with the outcome though. This book was fantastic.
